Hi, my name is Nuno Carlos. I’ve been part of the TUI family since February 2024 and I joined TUI because I love being Cabin Crew and looking after people. TUI provided me with all the tools that I need to give a high standard of customer service, and I’ve learned that small gestures can make people happy.

It’s certainly not your typical 9-5 job, but I love that no day is ever the same. You’re constantly meeting new people. When you turn up to work you could be with a whole crew that you don’t know, however by the time you get to your destination they all feel like close friends. Becoming Cabin Crew isn’t just a job, it’s a lifestyle. Sometimes it can be tiring, however I can honestly say I love my job.

If life’s taught me anything you should always follow your dreams. As I said, never let age stand in the way! From the moment I was interviewed, I knew TUI was right for me. As an airline they are incredibly inclusive, really celebrating how older people bring so much value and skillset to the role of Cabin Crew. I loved my training course which was a great mix of ages. I made some very special friends and had the most amazing trainers. TUI crew are amazing, some of the most inclusive I have ever worked with! So glad I took that chance and applied.
