About the job

As a Swim Coach at TUI Holiday Villages or TUI BLUE resorts, you’ll be at the heart of our aquatic program, delivering structured yet engaging swimming instruction to guests of all ages. Your role extends beyond simply teaching swimming techniques – you’ll be creating confidence-building experiences that enhance our guests’ holiday memories.

Your responsibilities will include organising progressive swimming lessons, ensuring pool safety, promoting the swim program throughout the resort, and managing bookings. You’ll need to check pre-booked sessions You’ll need to check pre-booked sessions before guest arrivals and use our messaging systems to welcome participants. The role requires you to maintain appropriate coach-to-swimmer ratios and run regular Box Office sessions to engage with guests.

Qualified coaches must hold a minimum of a Swimming Teaching/Coaching certificate (not to be confused with Assisting Teaching, Education Awards or Sports Qualifications) from your country of residence. You will have gained or be willing to gain a lifesaving certification as part of the pool safety around swimming lessons.

Your teaching approach should balance technical instruction with fun, creating a positive learning environment that accommodates various skill levels. Beyond regular lessons, you’ll also lead swim-related activities like Parent & Toddler sessions and participate in broader entertainment events throughout the resort.
